The YFM series grinding mill is a new-type grinding system developed through decades of experience, combining rolling, impacting, and grinding into a single process. It is an ideal ultrafine ground calcium carbonate grinding mill, designed specifically for the deep processing of non-metallic minerals with a Mohs hardness under 5.
The finished particle size can be adjusted to reach 325-3000 mesh (3.5-50 microns), meeting diverse industrial requirements.
Calcium carbonate is widely used as an extender in paints and coatings, and is a popular filler in plastics. PVC cables utilize calcium carbonate to enhance mechanical and electrical properties. It is also routinely used as a filler in rubbers, as well as in a wide range of adhesives, sealants, and decorating fillers.
Raw material is fed into the grinding chamber via the feed port of the upper section, and is then ground between the rollers and grinding rings into fine powders. The powders are blown to the upper part where qualified particles pass into the powder collecting system through the classifier wheel, while other particles fall back to be ground again.
In reverse-pulse-jet baghouses, individual bags are supported by a metal cage. Dusty air enters from the bottom of the baghouse, flowing from the outside to the inside of the bags. The bags are cleaned by a short burst of compressed air injection, causing the powder to fall into the storage hopper below. This collecting system works automatically via a digital sequential timer (PLC) attached to the pulse valves.
Adapting reliable electric components, the PLC control system supports fully automatic operations, easy configuration, and one-button stops. Operators can easily adjust currents and frequencies through the interface to achieve precise target particle sizes ranging from 325-3000 mesh.

The system is ideal for processing non-metallic minerals with a Mohs hardness under 5. Typical examples include calcium carbonate, barite, talc, gypsum, calcite, limestone, calcium oxide, bentonite, and dolomite.
The finished particle size can be adjusted continuously between 325 and 3000 mesh (corresponding to 3.5 to 50 microns) by controlling the speed of the classifier wheel.
Compared to ball mills, air-flow mills, and stirred mills, this roller mill requires lower initial investment, has lower maintenance costs, and features easy operations alongside high output capacity.
It employs a reverse-pulse-jet baghouse system. Dust-laden air enters through the bottom, flowing outward to inside the filter bags. A sequence timer (PLC) regulates short bursts of compressed air to shake off the particles into the storage hopper, maintaining zero dust pollution.
We offer comprehensive 7*24 support, sample mineral testing, 4-7 days of assembly supervision, 15-20 days of test runs, training, PLC adjustments, and a 12-month post-assembly warranty.
Standard metal parts are loaded safely within standard containers. Sensitive items, tools, spare parts, and the PLC cabinets are securely crated in non-fumigation wooden boxes to ensure they remain clean and integral.
