Vacuum conveyor is a closed-pipeline pneumatic conveying system that transports dry powders/granules using negative pressure (typically -0.3 to -0.6 bar). It ensures dust-free, contamination-free material transfer in industries like pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals.
A vacuum conveying machine, also known as a vacuum loader, transports powdered or granular materials through suction generated by a vacuum pump.
Here's how it works:
A vacuum pump creates negative pressure inside the conveying system, forming an airflow.
The material is sucked into the feed inlet through a suction tube or nozzle due to the pressure difference.
The air-material mixture enters a separator (usually a filter chamber), where the material is separated from the air by a filter.
In the vacuum feeder, a compressed air reverse blowing device is installed. During each discharge cycle, the compressed air pulse cleans the filter by dislodging the powder adhered to the filter surface, ensuring smooth and continuous material suction operation.
The collected material is discharged into the target container (e.g., a hopper or mixer) via a discharge valve.
The system repeats the process automatically for continuous feeding.
